With SplashNews, you can download the latest content from your favourite news site or blog in seconds, from anywhere.
The design of the application is simple and clean and it's pretty easy to open the preset feeds or add your own to the index. We had a couple of problems getting SplashNews to sync at first but once it's up and running, it performs fairly well. The program is ad-supported freeware, much like Google Reader, which is arguably a better alternative if you can be online all the time.
We enjoyed SplashNews's ease of use and simple design but would recommend trying some online services: they can be even better, and take up less room on your phone.
